By using a speaker adaptor, just about any speaker mounting can be converted to hold standard speaker sizes, such as 16.5cm, 13cm etc.
Using a speaker adaptor means you don't have to modify your car - there is no need to cut panels and it removes guesswork. You know the size of speakers the speaker adaptor will hold, and often the adaptors increase the mounting depth.
Occasionally minor modifications of the speaker adaptors are required, but they should only be minor where required and to be performed on the speaker adaptor itself rather than your vehicle.
